We offer FREE UK mainland delivery on all our handmade Chesterfield Sofas and furniture. Please be aware that this excludes the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and other remote areas.
Delivery of all our Chesterfield Sofas and furniture is scheduled to be within your house or chosen property within approximately 5 weeks. Our current lead time will be given upon ordering. Please allow for public holidays and weekends. All our Chesterfield Sofas are delivered by a two man delivery service.

After placing your order
After placing your order for our handmade furniture and receiving your deposit, we ask for a full 4 weeks for production of your order. Production will not start until 50% deposit has been recieved. Approximately one week is assigned to booking in delivery and confirming a convenient day with yourself, so that enough notice is given. Our deliveries are carried out Monday – Friday.
Our Chesterfield Sofas and furniture are delivered with delivery feet so that no damage is caused in transit. These will be removed once your Chesterfield Sofa or piece of furniture is into your property, which will then be replaced by your chosen legs.
Upon delivery, a signature will be required from an someone is 18+. A copy of the delivery note for your order will be given to you for you to keep. Please keep this for your own records, as this is your proof of purchase and warranty. If there is any issues with your order upon delivery, please let us know.
We have a variety of ways you can pay for our products at Abode Sofas. As purchasing such a substantial piece of furniture can be quite a large expense, we only require a 50% deposit to secure your order. Or alternatively you can pay the full balance and sit back and relax until your order arrives. The product total will be shown clearly in the cart and upon checkout.
50% deposit – then 50% remaining balance upon delivery. (cash only)
50% deposit – then 50% remaining balance upon delivery being booked in.
100% balance payment.

We don’t currently offer shipping of Chesterfield Sofas or products out of the UK through our website, however please contact us for a quote to your chosen destination. We will require a full address to obtain a shipping quote for your product.
There are two shipping methods available which vary slightly in cost.
Kerbside – Your item will be shipped and delivered to the kerbside of your chosen address. However it is your responsibility to put the item into your property.
Port– Your item will be shipped to the port that is nearest to your given address. It is then your responsibility to make arrangements to uplift the item from the port.
It’s life, problems happen, so lets deal with it and we will leave you with a smile on your face.
It’s simple and straightforward, if you aren’t happy with your order you have 14 days to return their item/s from the day of delivery. Notice of returns must be made within 7 days of delivery by the customer.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Item – If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will uplift the product or pay your costs of returning it to us. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 14 working days of our receiving your return. All items returned will be checked as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s re-delivery to recover our expenses from you.
Doesn’t fit or unsuitable – If you require an exchange for a different size you can return your original item to us and we will send you your desired size. Postage costs are to be covered by the customer. Under special circumstances and it’s a product that is wanted by popular demand we will exchange and uplift the product for free.
Any orders that are returned to us, regardless of the reason, must reach us in 100% saleable condition. This applies to the product and it’s packaging.
In the unlikely event of a product being returned & the item or packaging is rendered unsaleable at it’s full retail price. We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of 20% of the price at which it was sold.
